WE RELEASED THE OFFICIAL ESCALATE V VIDEO FOR A SHORT ONLINE SEASON HERE, ON JUNE 5-8. WE'LL BE SHOWING  IT AGAIN SOON SO MAKE SURE TO WATCH THIS SPACE!

Escalate is a career pathways mentoring program for budding dance artists between the ages of 16-26. The program takes them through the entire process of creating a dance piece and preparing it for live performance.

Due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire Escalate team quickly switched their focus to creating a video production instead of a live performance. Clever video editing and green screen technology were used to replicate the appearance of many dancers on the screen at once.

The end result is quite spectacular!

This program was supported by the ACT Government and Ainslie & Gorman Arts Centres. We extend our warmest thanks for their continued support.

If you enjoyed this video, please consider donating to Ausdance ACT to help support their programs.

My friends often describe me as a shy and energetic person. I love to dance and I can't see myself doing anything different. I compete many times throughout the year at different competitions around Australia. I focus on a lyrical / contemporary style in my solo classes and with my choreography and my goal is to be accepted into Ev&Bow and become a professional contemporary dancer. I just really enjoy dancing!
