QL2′s “Hit the floor together”. See the full show, and then see a highlight performance in the Australian Dance Awards!

Featuring some of Australia’s finest emerging Indigenous choreographers, Hit the Floor Together is a collaboration between 30 creative Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people from the Canberra region, with visiting dancers from around Australia.

This new contemporary dance work is created by Bangarra’s Daniel Riley McKinley and Kurruru Youth Performing Arts’ Deon Hastie, with choreographer Dean Cross and QL2 Artistic Director Ruth Osborne.

These young people are determining the future, with an understanding of the present. Evoking their hopes and dreams, despite their differences in culture, geography and understanding. This show will move your heart and mind.
